Zak Brown Earns $110.3 Million in 2025 McLaren Compensation
In 2025, Zak Brown, the CEO of McLaren Racing, received a total compensation package of $110.3 million, as detailed in the team's financial accounts. This amount includes a base salary of $10.84 million and $99.25 million from a long-term incentive plan.
The incentive plan, which is paid in cash, is based on multi-year targets such as revenue growth, debt management, profitability, and on-track performance. McLaren achieved significant success in 2025, winning its second consecutive Constructors' Championship and securing its first Drivers' Championship since 2008 with Lando Norris.
Revenue for McLaren increased from $645 million in 2024 to $777.2 million in 2025, partly due to prize money and performance-related payments. The growth in McLaren's value was also highlighted by MSP Sports Capital's sale of its 33 percent stake in September 2025, which valued the racing business at over $5 billion, a significant increase from its valuation of £560 million in 2020.
