Zuccaro Leads Invitation Cup Favorites; Alfonsine Shines in Super Mile

Zuccaro is set to compete as the favorite in the Zavaray Poonawalla Indian Turf Invitation Cup at the Mysore Race Club on Sunday. At six years old, he is the oldest horse among seven runners, yet he remains in excellent form, posing a significant challenge to his competitors.

The Major P.K. Mehra Memorial Super Mile presents a more competitive landscape with seven participants and an impressive Average Handicap Rating of 113. While older horses have recently performed well, Alfonsine, a four-year-old returning to his preferred distance, is expected to attract considerable attention.
